HBA WEST CHESTER PRESENTS

The Secret Weapon to Effectively Advocating for Yourself

Effective leaders and good negotiators share this in common: they both know how to get others to do for them what they want, and to leave the others feeling good about doing so.

If this concept has eluded you, then you will want to hear top employment attorney Robin Bond share her tips on how you can learn to advocate effectively for yourself within any organization. If you have a mentor or a sponsor pushing you forward, that is terrific – but there will always come times where you need to be skilled at standing your ground and speaking up effectively to convince others to give you what you want.

In this session, Robin will share her negotiation process and the successful tips that have helped her secure and enhance deals for over 3,000 individuals. You need to know what to ask for, as well as how to ask for it, and in the interactive scenarios Robin shares, you will get to put these skills and concepts to work for you.
