HBA PHILADELPHIA PRESENTS

Intrapreneurship: Igniting the Spirit of Innovation Within Your Organization

Intrapreneurship: In-tra-pre-neur-ship (n) 1. Successful adaptation of entrepreneurial attitudes and strategies inside of a bureaucratic organization. 2. Implementation of start-up practices within a large organization, producing valued innovation.

While Steve Jobs popularized the term “intrapreneurship” in a 1985 Newsweek article, this topic is still gaining traction as the entrepreneurial mindset is increasingly needed within corporations and outside to set new vision, disrupt ways of doing things and solve problems that will better our culture.

Specifically in healthcare, with newcomers making forays in the industry, our willingness to explore and embrace new ideas and processes is critical to our ability to meet evolving demands. But in such a highly regulated industry, creating a culture that welcomes experimentation and innovation can be tricky.

Join HBA Philadelphia to learn how you can move your career and your organization ahead by learning to think like an entrepreneur.
