Event details
Successful investing is a difficult undertaking: it takes a clearly defined goal, a long-term commitment and patience. This sounds simple, straightforward and rational, yet so many investors fail to achieve the returns that they expect. Behavioral finance has shown that the common approach to investing is far less rational than we thought and has identified a plethora of cognitive biases that stand in our way to successful investing.
Why this is relevant to women: women tend to control an increasing percentage of the national savings as their share of income increases and they tend to outlive their partner. Therefore, women need to prepare for a sound financial future of their own.
- Is the traditional banking set-up geared towards supporting the needs of women?
- What does the theoretical debate between Modern Portfolio Theory and Behavioral Finance mean for you as a client?
- What are the many cognitive biases that block the way to successful investing and what can you do to best avoid them?
