HBA Executive Breakfast: Securing Your Seat at the Boardroom Table
Serving on corporate boards is a way for executive women leaders to make a business impact in the healthcare industry and to continue to further develop their professional leadership in new ways. Data from Catalyst, Korn Ferry and other organizations consistently demonstrate that companies with three or more women on their boards of directors, outperform their peer groups.
This intimate discussion features a panel of industry leaders. Each will share their personal learnings, experiences and stories about board service including: their reasons for serving; how they secured their first board position; tips for preparing for board interviews with executive search firms and board members; board experiences and lessons learned and how corporate board service has helped each continue to grow professionally and contribute significantly to the industry.
