HBA CENTRAL NEW JERSEY PRESENTS

Behind the Curtain of Healthcare Reform - Impact on the Pharmaceutical Industry

There are a lot of unknowns about the direction of US healthcare policy. The current administration would like to remove the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and replace it with the "American Patients First" blueprint, which calls for lower drug pricing and a reduction in out-of-pocket costs. Lower costs would be a benefit for patients but how will that impact the industry and it's employees?

Now more than ever, it's critical for talent across all areas of healthcare to have an understanding of where the industry is headed and how value-based care and payment reform may impact their organization, themselves as an employee and ultimately as a patient. Leaders need to understand what skills they need to acquire and hone to adapt to the changing healthcare environment.

Our speakers will share their stories and perspectives on the current climate of reform, obstacles they had to overcome as it relates to this and provide advice on how to focus on development.
