Women in the Workplace: How Diversity Drives Innovation
The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) - Cincinnati Women in Science (WIS) affinity group is proud to join Mason Innovation Week, collaborating with the City of Mason, Assurex Health and local education partners to deliver a panel discussion highlighting the impact of women in healthcare innovation. This panel is part of an entire afternoon focused on science and innovation that also includes a discussion on genomics and precision medicine, education in advanced technology and a poster session for local high school innovators in STEM fields.
Mason Innovation Week partners the City of Mason, local businesses and regional allies to educate, inspire and nurture current employees, future talent and the broader community through diverse perspectives, new ideas in scientific research and access to industry thought-leaders. Mason's collaborative bioscience ecosystem is able to leverage its rapidly growing hub of scientists, inventors and like-minded businesses to bring these experiences to the broader community. Through rich public-private initiatives, such as Innovation Week, Mason also strives to advance community STEM programming to build its professional talent pool from the ground up and foster collaboration among business leaders.
