HBA FRANKFURT PRESENTS

45 years of HBA in 45 mins

HBA Frankfurt Chapter is honored to have Margaret Dougherty-Marcus, HBA founder, to present "45 years of HBA in 45 mins". The HBA was formed in 1977 by five professional women in the Northeast area of the United States. They recognized the need for women in healthcare to come together to exchange industry and career information and resources. They began informally, but meetings quickly grew in number and led to the establishment of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA). Peg, one of the founders of HBA, will share how and why the HBA was esteblished, what push back they faced and the HBA's progress today.
