Create Your Own Path - Als Expert: in brillieren oder motivierend fuhren? (in German, virtual)
Die Mitarbeiter begeistern, motivieren und inspirieren – das wird heute vielfach von Vorgesetzten erwartet. Oder anders gesagt: Leadership ist gefragt und viele betrachten Führungspositionen als einzige Möglichkeit, um Karriere zu machen. Oft wird Leadership dabei im starken Kontrast zur Expertise betrachtet. Führungslaufbahn ist aber nicht für jede(n) das Richtige. Andere berufliche Entwicklungen wie beispielsweise die Weiterentwicklung zur Fachexpert:in ermöglichen ebenfalls wiederkehrende Erfolgserlebnisse und eine vielfältige Laufbahn. Zentral ist, nur in der richtigen Position können Menschen ihr Potenzial wirklich entfalten und ihre Motivation aufrechterhalten: Deshalb sollte man sich auf keinen Fall in die eine oder andere Position drängen lassen.
Ob du dich für eine Führungs- oder Expertenkarriere entscheidest, solltest du also allein von deinen Kompetenzen und Interessen abhängig machen. Wir nehmen uns dem Thema „Führung vs. Experte“ an und erklären den Unterschied zwischen den beiden Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten: Warum ist fachliche Exzellenz nicht immer ausreicht für eine gute Führungskraft und wann ist eine Karriere als Experte die bessere Wahl? Wir diskutieren und tauschen uns aus, warum es beide braucht und ob eine Person auch beides sein kann.
