HBA Women of Color: Virtual Sister Circle
The HBA Women of Color affinity group invites you to join our upcoming pop-up virtual sister circle to spontaneously share and connect with fellow members. These small gatherings offer a safe space for members to support each other in the spirit of sisterhood and healing, especially in times of conflict.
During this sister circle we will discuss the current war in the Middle East. As members and allies of these communities, we will role model unity, empathy, and compassion. We will close out with a call to action on ways we can collectively foster connections among humanity, bridge both sides, and stand together to bring unity and peace.
Gigi Shady, RPH is AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals District Sales Manager and HBA Women of Color Regional Liaison. Born and raised in Egypt, Gigi serves as a true advocate for I,D&E at AstraZeneca through leading multiple pillars for the Network Of Women ERG, Co-Lead the Middle Eastern ERG.
Susan Hendrich, PhD is AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals Director of Leadership & Capabilities in the Commercial Excellence organization. Dr. Hendrich has dedicated her career to leading learning and development in high-performing teams through human-centered solutions. She served as State Director of Training for children’s mental health in Kansas, where she led the state’s largest mental health center.
