Research shows that women and other underrepresented individuals frequently encounter exclusionary behaviors, often referred to as "microaggressions," in the workplace. These behaviors have a significant impact on employees' wellbeing, sense of belonging, and how they are perceived by others. Whether these behaviors are deliberate or unintentional, navigating the appropriate response in the moment —whether as a recipient or observer during team meetings, 1:1 meetings, or casual office interactions — can be challenging.
