HBA MID-ATLANTIC REGION PRESENTS

A Focus on Black Inequality: Leadership Solidarity In Action

Join HBA Mid-Atlantic and the Women of Color affinity group on 5 August as we “get uncomfortable” together.

We all need to grow— to be intentional in breaking the silence everywhere about this painful legacy— in our homes, on the job, and in our communities. A movement to combat racial injustices cannot happen without visible, vocal and visionary support everywhere and from everyone. This panel event with executives, influencers, allies, sponsors and active experts will bring forward thoughts and ideas of change, adaptation and growth.

• Hear of the progress to make internal and personal changes that our panelists have made from a focused corporate agenda and to deliver on the many public statements of solidarity that have been made.
• Gain insight into the workforce gaps and disparity of non-white employees, in particular black and brown employees -- and hear what must happen next.
• Discover the business and global effectiveness case for inclusive thought and equitable treatment in all areas of corporate, personal and community life.
