HBA NY TRI-STATE REGION PRESENTS

Women’s Mental Health, Well-being, and the Mind-Heart-Body and Career Connection

It turns out that a women’s mind-body-heart are powerful allies that often help women to achieve all that they do day in and out. An example of this mind-heart-body connection is how a women’s body responds to stress and anxiety. Constant worry over one’s job, finances, the well-being of children, spouse, and parents can cause tense muscles, pain, headaches, stomach problems, and chronic and mental health issues. Arguably, many of these symptoms and more have been felt by women as they have unfortunately taken the brunt of the impact of Covid-19 over the past 2+ years. There are organizations that are advocating that there are physiological connections between many seemingly unrelated mind-heart-body issues – many seemingly unrelated on the surface. Indeed, mental health issues can lead to physical health issues and physical health issues can lead to mental health issues. This session will present some bold and inspiring ideas of the value behind women taking time to focus on the mind-heart-body connection and how this focus can impact one’s career and overall well-being.
