In honor of Arab American Heritage month, we come together to explore the rich tapestry of our stories and contributions through an interactive storytelling experience. In this workshop we will learn about the rich mosaic of the Arab American community through our history, culture and hybrid identities. We will create a space of cross-cultural understanding and appreciation through shared stories, commonalities and values.

Join us in honor of Arab American HER-itage month, as we come together to explore the rich tapestry of stories and contributions through an interactive storytelling experience. We will create a space of cross-cultural understanding and appreciation through shared stories, commonalities, and values. This workshop will encourage participants to learn more about the cultural contributions, influence, and impact of Arab Americans.

Shireen Soliman is an Egyptian-American artist, educator, advocate, mother, dynamic connector, visionary, and catalyst for positive growth and change. Shireen uses her multiple platforms to foster mindfulness and empathy, counter misperceptions and bias, and build awareness around the power of storytelling. Shireen holds a BFA in Fashion Design and a Masters of Science in Education for Leadership in the Arts and Technology.
