HBA PHILADELPHIA AND HBA MID-ATLANTIC REGION PRESENTS

Stigma, Support, & Self-Care: A Survival Guide

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 1 in 5 Americans experienced mental illness in 2020. That's 52.9 million people. Chances are you may know - or love - or work with - at least one of them. At least 8.4 million people in the U.S. provide care to an adult with a mental or emotional health issue; caregivers of adults with mental or emotional health issues spend an average of 32 hours per week providing unpaid care.

Join this important panel discussion for ""real talk"" about the hidden impact of mental illness in our community, our homes and in our businesses. We will discuss practical tips to protect your own mental health while being an advocate for others.
