HBA EUROPE REGION AND HBA ZURICH-ZUG PRESENTS

Past, Present and Future: Strategies, Reflections and Projections to Propel Women in STEM

Please note this webinar will take place from 6:00 - 7:30 PM CET. Please convert into your local time zone and mark your calendar accordingly.

Johnson & Johnson’s WiSTEM2D initiative and HBA Zurich-Zug are proud to collaborate on an invigorating, multi-tiered event. It will kick off with an inspiring talk on charting a career in STEM. An Claes, VP Global Planning Consumer Health at Johnson & Johnson, had a strong ambition to lead a $2bn company since the beginning of her career. As the speaker of this session, she will take the audience through how she fulfilled this single-minded vision. Along with her observations and wisdom, An will also share a career mapping process that helped guide her throughout the journey.

This will be followed by an enlightening panel discussion centered on the change of environment over the years for women in STEM careers. Discussions will traverse through past attitudes and the learnings from today; on how conditions, approaches and behaviors have shifted over time, as well as projections for the future. On this panel will be Jackie Fila, IT VP Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health, Andrea Kearney, Sr Manager, Business Technology Leader Consumer Health Supply Chain, Dr Quy Vo-Reinhard, Head Of Research & Development / Board of Directors at Centiva Health, and Dr. Vivi M Heine, executive board member of the iPScenter. The session will be moderated by Sean Yap at Phenotype Global and board member, Director of Marketing and Communication HBA Zurich-Zug. This event will certainly deliver inspiration to spark the futures of emerging women leaders across all fields of STEM and will certainly be one of the highlights of the year.

(WiSTEM2D stands for Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing and Design. Johnson & Johnson believes that it has a key role to play in expanding the idea of STEM to include manufacturing and design.)
