Artificial Intelligence (AI) is called one of the biggest disruptive and potentially impactful technologies in healthcare. Researchers are using AI in drug discovery and preclinical drug development to improve predictive models with the potential to revolutionize the time it takes to bring a drug to market. It also had potential to improve patient outcomes and the overall patient experience.

This HBA event features an impressive and multi-dimensional panel of curious and enthusiastic Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry leaders from diverse backgrounds –including Pharma R&D, Consumer Healthcare and Technology and Academics. Edward Bowen and Nakul Vyas will talk the about the AI transformation journey at GlaxoSmithKline. Brian Charles, the Head Learning Facilitator for MIT Sloan School of Business and MIT CSAIL courses on AI, ML (Machine Learning) and IoT (Internet of Things) will address the implications of AI and ML and the pace of its overall disruption on people’s lives. A transformative convener, Andrea McGonigle from Microsoft, recently named one of the top 100 influential people in life sciences by PharmaVOICE, brings her patient engagement, cloud expertise and innovative problem-solving approach to the panel discussion. Brace yourself; this program promises to keep you engaged.
