Self-Care: Workplace Mental Health
"Self Care: Workplace Mental Health." This comprehensive session will cover the following key topics:
* Workplace Mental Health Fundamentals: An exploration of mental health significance in professional environments and strategies for employers to implement effective support systems for their teams.
* Evidence-Based Self-Care Practices: A presentation of practical self-care techniques and their documented benefits for workplace wellness and productivity.
*Addressing Mental Health Misconceptions: A discussion challenging common mental health myths with factual information to reduce stigma and promote understanding.
*Sleep and Wellness Connection: An examination of how quality sleep directly impacts both mental and physical health, with recommendations for improving sleep hygiene.
We are fortunate to have Jhon Henry Velasco and Leslie Archer are the panel for this event.
Jhon Henry Velasco, Associate Director of Culture, Wellness and Engagement at Novo Nordisk, brings practical idealism to the intersection of workplace culture and organizational excellence. With three decades of global public health experience, he approaches wellness as the cornerstone of sustainable business performance. His data-driven initiatives have helped influence and transform employee engagement while his unwavering belief in inclusive environments bridges today’s challenges with tomorrow's healthier future.
Leslie Archer, Manager Wellness & Benefits Communications at Syneos Health, will be our other panelist. With a career dedicated to corporate wellness since 2011, Leslie has served in various roles including frontline service, management, and strategic planning. Leslie’s passion lies in enhancing the health and wellbeing of others. As a strategist and visionary, she excels at aligning the wellness and financial goals of corporations with the interests of their populations. Leslie finds fulfillment in motivating and empowering individuals to take greater responsibility for and control of their own health and future. Leslie holds a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science degree in Lifestyle Disease Prevention. Leslie is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist, a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.
