Positive, Prepared, Patient: Keys to Successfully Navigating Your Career Transition

Career transitions are disruptive and unsettling and the uncertainty around a new job opportunity can ruin a good summer. When in transition, you may be feeling stress around money, the ability to pay bills and maintain your lifestyle, and falling behind on your financial goals. During this time, it is essential that you proactively evaluate your current situation and prepare an action plan to successfully navigate your transition.
Having experienced more than one layoff in her 20-year corporate career, Ruzanna Queenan, CFA, will share her own experiences as well as provide professional guidance on the best ways to arm yourself with patience, positivity, and emotional and financial preparedness to handle the tough weeks ahead. You will leave this session with strategies for keeping your finances in order, reducing anxiety about money, the best options for taking control of your retirement accounts, and feeling empowered to take the time to find the RIGHT next opportunity!
