Striving towards Health Equity in 2021- an ecosystem perspective

This dynamic panel (moderated by Deloitte) will provide insights from the payer, regional provider, pharmaceutical, and government policy lens. Through the discussion, they will articulate how their organizations view the current challenges of Health Equity and SDOH for patients magnified by the pandemic, what actions their organizations are taking to improve health equity, and reflect on what government policies and communication signals are coming from the incoming administration in early 2021.

Learning Objectives

1. Gain a common understanding of Health Equity and Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and the impact on health outcomes 2. Gain insights from healthcare ecosystem leaders of how the COVID-19 pandemic has magnified the issue of Health Equity and SDOH for the patients they serve and how their organizations are taking action 3. Learn what current government policies and early communication signals are coming from the incoming administration to address health inequity in the future
