Hispanic HER-itage Month: Bring your own Cafecito! (BYOCafecito)

“Every moment is an organizing opportunity, every person a potential activist, every minute a chance to change the world.” ~ Dolores Huerta

Join us in honor of Hispanic HERitage Month as we focus on recognizing the significant achievements of Latina women in the healthcare and DEI industries. During this session we’ll hear from and celebrate two outstanding leaders as they share sage advice and their vision for the future of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

We’ll also learn more about the HOPE program as a potential avenue to be a DE&I advocate. HOPE is an accelerated one-year leadership program for mid- to senior-level, high-potential talent from underrepresented groups (i.e., LGBTQ+, women of color, women with ability diversity). HBA Corporate Partner companies identify and support employees for participation.

At its core, HOPE focuses on the HBA Leadership Capabilities framework, incorporating professional development activities designed to develop and enhance participants’ capabilities in the areas of enlightenment, empowerment, engagement, and evolution.

Come to be inspired, to strengthen your resilience, and to recharge your efforts in the work to change the world.
