Women's Health in Focus - Driving Visibility and Impact
Across the healthcare landscape, significant gender gaps persist. Women are more likely to experience misdiagnosis and delays in treatment for a wide range of conditions — from acute coronary syndromes to attention deficit disorders.
Chronic underfunding and insufficient data on women’s health have resulted in a global invisibility of female-specific outcomes. Conditions that disproportionately affect women — such as menopause, endometriosis, premenstrual syndrome, and polycystic ovary syndrome — have only recently started receiving the attention they deserve, despite their prevalence and profound impact on daily functioning and quality of life.

This event aims to raise awareness and explore gender-based disparities in healthcare system performance. Together, we will share insights and practical tools to address these gaps — from improving diagnosis and treatment equity to developing tailored health advice and preventive care strategies for women.
