In this second of our two-part webinar series, participants will review their experience and learnings having spent a month with Present and take their development to the next step: reviewing the skills and techniques which enable flexibility and agility for effective communications in different environmental situations.
Presentr is a mobile app provided in session one which offers real time feedback and coaching on presentation skills. The first section of this webinar will have participants sharing their experience and learnings having used the application for a month and report out any changes in confidence levels they've observed.
The second half of this webinar will be focused on learning to recognize -and be prepared - to communicate effectively in the variety of situations we find ourselves in at work. We cannot control the environment we work in, but we can develop effective communication techniques to maintain composure and communicate with confidence -such as storytelling. The ability to flex our skills regardless of the situation is a vital tool for effective communicators and leaders.
Environments we will discuss include virtual meetings (on-camera and off), live meetings (sitting vs. standing) and meeting situations that can pose challenges for speakers such as handling questions and aggressive attendees.
The first webinar in this series, "Increase Your Communication Confidence in Three Weeks: There's an APP for That," on 3 October 2018 will provide practical tools and tips and an introduction to the Presentr app.
The second webinar in this series, "Presenting Effectively in Any Situation," on 24 October 2018 will discuss the topic of effectively presenting in any situation
Participants can register for one or both webinars. Both webinars will be recorded and a link will available to anyone who is registered.
