HBA PHILADELPHIA SUBURBS PRESENTS

Not Simply an Attack: The True Burden of Asthma

Asthma continues to affect millions of patients, yet many still experience poor disease control and recurrent attacks. These attacks remain a major driver of hospitalizations, diminished quality of life, and long-term disease progression, placing ongoing strain on patients, families, and the healthcare system. This session will explore the human, clinical, and system-level challenges of managing asthma, alongside evolving strategies to improve outcomes through patient-centered care. We will examine the day to day impact of asthma and frequent attacks, while examining system barriers to optimal care in the United States.

The event will be hosted by Teva Pharmaceuticals. For over 120 years, Teva’s commitment to bettering health has never wavered. From innovating in the fields of neuroscience and immunology to providing complex generic medicines, biosimilars and pharmacy brands worldwide, Teva is dedicated to addressing patients’ needs, now and in the future. At Teva, We Are All In For Better Health.
