Women in Manufacturing: Insights, Innovations, and Impact
Back in the 1940s, Rosie the Riveter became an iconic symbol of women stepping into the traditionally male-dominated world of manufacturing. Over 80 years later, while women make up nearly half of the overall workforce, they still account for only 30% of manufacturing jobs and hold just 25% of senior positions. In biopharma manufacturing, however, many women have broken through barriers, driving innovation and paving the way for greater representation in this critical field.
