- The Volkshaus Basel is located in the middle of Kleinbasel, just a few steps from Claraplatz and just a 5-minute walk from the Basel Trade Fair .
Arrival by train:
Basel station (SBB) and French station (SNCF):
Leave the station towards Centralbahnplatz . Then take tram number 8 in the direction of Kleinhüningen, to Claraplatz station .
Badischer Bahnhof:
Tram No. 6 towards Allschwil to Claraplatz .
Arrival by car
From Zurich/Bern:
A3, exit 3, drive towards Basel / Grenzach / Wyhlen / Wettstein, turn left onto Grenzacherstrasse to Wettsteinplatz , at the roundabout take
the Rebgasse exit , to the Rebgasse car park. The Volkshaus does not have its own parking spaces, please use the Rebgasse parking garage.
From Germany and France:
Motorway to Weil am Rhein , after the customs office exit Basel Nord/Kleinhüningen , then towards Messe .
Arrival by plane
EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse:
Bus number 50 to the SBB train station. Then take tram number 8 in the direction of Kleinhüningen/Weil am Rhein, to Claraplatz station.
