Innovations in Clinical Development Keys to Success: Innovation, Diverse Talent, and Leadership

Please join us for the second in our three-part series that is focused on introducing HBA members to the evolution of the life sciences industry over the past 20 years, and the leading role that Boston has played in it. Starting with The Human Genome Project, the latest cutting-edge innovations in genetic editing, precision medicines and AI all contribute to advancing the development of treatments for chronic and rare diseases. This series of HBA programs will explore what has driven the great strides made in therapeutic and disease advancement as well as how to adapt to the realities and dynamics of clinical development today.

In this event, Nina Wachsman, CEO and founder of KnowRare, will moderate a panel of experts from varied sectors to gain their diverse perspectives on the successes and challenges in the development of therapies for rare diseases. She will be joined by Katherine Beaverson, Senior Director and Patient Advocacy Lead, Rare Disease Research Unit, Pfizer; Julie Ross, President, Advanced Clinical and 2022 Vice Chair on HBA Board of Directors; and Dr. Pushpa Narayanaswami MD, FAAN Vice Chair, Clinical Operations, Dept. of Neurology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Associate Professor of Neurology Harvard Medical School.
