Reflections on Black History, Culture, and Experiences - Honoring the Past that Connects Us Today

This Black History Month Reflection Circle is a safe and welcoming space for open conversation, listening, and reflection. Participants are invited to share thoughts, ask questions, and reflect on Black history, culture, and experiences. The goal is not debate, but understanding that centers on respect, empathy, and learning from one another as we honor the past and consider how it connects to our lives today. This dynamic discussion will be moderated by Latrinda Williams, Sr. Director of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Learning Objectives

  1. See key moments in Black history that have shaped social, cultural, and political realities today.
  2. Consider ways historical understanding can inspire action, allyship, or personal growth.
  3. Reflect on the resilience, creativity, and contributions of Black communities past and present.
