HBA U-FACE Affinity Group Launch Event
Interested in getting to know more about the HBA and meeting some of our members? Join HBA members, leaders, and others committed to gender parity in an informal setting to learn more about HBA happenings locally and globally. These gatherings have a reputation for forming long-lasting friendships with women in all areas of healthcare, and give you a sense of what membership in the HBA is all about.
This is a launch event for the newly formed HBA Ethnicity Affinity Group “Unison of Faith, Culture, Allies & Ethnicity” (U-FACE). This event would provide HBA members and non-members the opportunity to connect and discuss topics on ethnicity, diversity, inclusion, equity, and allyship.
In the spirit of World Culture Day, which is celebrated in May, U-FACE (HBA Ethnicity Affinity Group) would like to begin our own HBA dialogue to promote cultural diversity within the wider HBA European community. U-FACE was formed to create a safe space, promote courageous conversations, to collectively learn the nuances of ethnic belonging and to empower each other to become visible leaders and great allies supporting inclusion and diversity of ethnicity, faith and culture.
The event will include 1 moderator and 4 panelists, who will share their career journey and their perspectives on U-FACE’s key themes of ethnicity, diversity, inclusion, equity and allyship.
