HBA NY TRI STATE REGION PRESENTS

Stop Fighting Your Leadership Team: The Hidden Cascade Quietly Distorting Trust, Decisions, & Result

HBA NY Tri-State Region is proud to present yet another Executive leadership coaching session!
Most leadership development focuses on what happens inside you as a leader. Far less attention is paid to what happens between leaders—and yet that is where 50% of your leadership effectiveness is created.
What if the missing lever isn't your strategy, your people, or your execution? What if it's the leadership team you're part of—and the patterns you've unknowingly created together?

You may recognize the symptoms:
- You bring new leaders into a reorganization, yet friction between old and new ways of working persists.
- You have a cross-functional initiative everyone appears committed to, yet it keeps losing momentum.
- You're leading an AI initiative and discovering that your leaders have very different assumptions about risk, ownership, or readiness.
- You're preparing for a major product launch or production expansion, but your leaders keep reverting to functional silos when you need them to move together.

This working session gives you a way to see what may be happening underneath the visible problem—and why capable people can keep producing the same frustrating results.

Through real-world examples, guided reflection, peer application, and an executive case demonstrating measurable operational impact, Sarah will introduce four patterns that quietly shape what happens between leaders:
Truth Gap — What everyone knows but no one is saying.
Decision Drift — What gets discussed, decided, and somehow remains undecided.
Fragile Commitment — What people agree to in the room but don't fully own outside it.
Leadership Shadow — How your own unintentional behaviors may be shaping your team's dynamics, responses, and effectiveness.

You'll apply these lenses to a current leadership challenge and identify where a pattern may be costing you and your team trust, speed, or execution.
The goal isn't another checklist for becoming a better leader. It's learning to see the leadership team you're part of differently—and knowing what to do with what you see.
