May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Join us for an engaging dinner topic around navigating the Bamboo Ceiling – insights on career strategies as well as cultural barriers/challenges and how to overcome them.

About the Host:
Ben Lei is a seasoned commercial leader within the biotech community. After a combined 16 plus years at Genentech and Pharmacyclics (An Abbvie Company), Ben has taken his experiences and learnings to the startup biotech world where he is currently the Head of Marketing (and Commercial Analytics) for Arcellx, a clinical stage biotechnology company reimagining cell therapy by engineering innovative immunotherapies for patients with cancer and other incurable diseases.

Ben has been an advisor for the local chapter of the HBA for 4+ years and is passionate about many of the topics that are shared with the objectives of the HBA, such as the development and mentorship of women leaders in biotech to create greater diversity at the C-suite and leadership levels.
