Diversity in Bioscience & Healthcare - Driving Equity in Organizations: Today and Beyond
Join the Columbus and Cincinnati chapters of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), in partnership with BioOhio, for an online event on October 21 at 5:15pm. The event will feature Jeanetta Darno, SPHR, UC Health System’s first Chief Diversity Officer.
Jeanetta will be interviewed by Stephanie Henderson, Sr. Consultant and Assessment Practice Leader, Leader OnBoarding. Jeanetta will share her perspective on how organizations can facilitate diversity and address diversity issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. This candid discussion will cover topics such as:
- Equity, inclusion, and recognizing implicit biases
- Making space for different voices and perspectives
- Becoming an advocate of change and beneficial workforce initiatives
- and more as the conversation progresses
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, as well as participate in breakout room networking.
