HBA CHICAGO-NORTHERN SUBURBS PRESENTS

HB8_The Power of Meaningful Connections

Meaningful relationships are at the heart of personal and professional growth — yet networking can often feel uncomfortable, transactional, or overwhelming. This interactive HBA session is designed to help participants deepen their understanding of authentic networking and learn how to cultivate connections that truly matter.

Through guided reflection and group discussion, we’ll explore:
- What makes a connection authentic and impactful
- Respectful, effective ways to ask for help or introductions
- How to use your network to solve problems or advance your goals
- Simple habits to strengthen internal and external networks
- How to better navigate and engage with the HBA community

We will wrap with clear takeaways, action commitments, and a networking challenge to help participants put insights into practice. Attendees will leave with practical tools and renewed confidence in building connections that create lasting impact.
